Blackjack rules
You and the dealer each get two cards; one dealer card stays face down. Number cards count their value, face cards count 10 and aces count 1 or 11. Hit to take another card or stand to keep your total. Go over 21 and you bust.
When you stand, the dealer reveals the hidden card and must draw until reaching at least 17. Whoever is closer to 21 wins. An ace and a ten-value card as your first two cards is a blackjack.
Basic strategy in short
Stand on hard 17 or more. With 12–16, stand if the dealer shows 2–6 and hit if the dealer shows 7 or higher. Always hit 11 or less. This free version uses no money or bets – it is just for fun and practice.
