Draw a tarot card online
CardSuffly uses the complete 78-card tarot deck: the 22 cards of the Major Arcana, from The Fool to The World, and the 56 cards of the Minor Arcana in four suits – Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles. Each suit runs from Ace to Ten, followed by the Page, Knight, Queen and King.
The deck is shuffled fairly with your browser's cryptographic random number generator, and cards come off the top until the deck runs out – just as if you were holding a real deck.
Single card or three-card spread
A single card is the classic card of the day: draw one in the morning and keep its theme in mind, or pull one when you need a quick perspective on a question.
The three-card spread lays out Past, Present and Future. The first card points to what led you here, the second to what is happening now and the third to where things are heading if nothing changes. Read the three together as one story rather than three separate answers.
Upright and reversed cards
With “Allow reversed cards” on, each card has an even chance of landing upside down. Many readers see a reversed card as the card’s energy being blocked, delayed or turned inward. If you prefer to read upright cards only, switch the option off.
How to ask a good question
Open questions work best. Instead of “Will I get the job?”, try “What should I focus on in this job search?”. Take a breath, keep the question in mind and tap the deck.
The tarot here is meant for reflection and fun, not as advice for health, legal or money decisions. Look up any card in the tarot card meanings, or try the yes or no tarot.
Frequently asked questions
How many cards are in a tarot deck?
78: the 22 Major Arcana and the 56 Minor Arcana, which are split into four suits of 14 cards.
What does a reversed tarot card mean?
A reversed card appears upside down. Readers often interpret it as the upright meaning weakened, delayed or turned inward. You can turn reversed cards off at any time.
Is the tarot draw random?
Yes. The cards are shuffled with the Fisher–Yates algorithm and your browser's cryptographic random number generator. No card is weighted and nothing is chosen in advance.
Can I draw the same card twice?
Not until you reshuffle: cards leave the deck as you draw them. Turn on “Put cards back after drawing” if you want every draw to come from the full deck.
